Panorama :

Le Domaine d’Hypolite sits in a sheltering hollow at the head of a long, sweeping valley. From its position on the crest, it offers spectacular views across the green pastures, the fields of wheat and the magnificent chestnut trees – chataigniers – which give their name to this whole region.

The dairy Fresians whose distinctive monochrome coats contrast starkly with the rich green pastures.

Queen of Cantal, Salers cattle are unmistakable with their rich mahogany coats and long, lyre-shaped horns …..

Superb draft horses, proud reminder of the region’s past pride, look forward to your attention (as well as any left-over crusts of rye bread you may have!) …..
